Privacy
InfiniTask collects nothing.
No account. No analytics. No tracking. Nothing you write is uploaded anywhere, because there is nowhere for it to go.
Last updated 24 September 2026. Applies to InfiniTask for iPhone and to this website.
The short version
Your Tasks, Projects, Stacks, Notebooks, Notes, photos and files are stored in a single file on your iPhone. They are never sent to me, and there is no server to send them to. I cannot read them, and neither can anyone else.
There is no sign-up, no login, no email address collected, no advertising identifier, no analytics package, no crash reporting service and no third-party SDK of any kind in the app.
What the app asks permission for
iOS asks before any of these. If you say no, the rest of the app carries on working. Each one is used only for the thing it says, on your device.
| Permission | Why | Leaves your phone? |
|---|---|---|
| Photos | So you can attach a photo to a Task or a Note, or use one as a Project backdrop. | No. A copy is saved inside the app on your device. |
| Camera | So you can take a photo and attach it without leaving the app. | No. |
| Calendar | So your real events show up beside your Tasks, and so you can create events from InfiniTask. | No. This is your device calendar, read and written through Apple's EventKit. |
| Face ID or Touch ID | To unlock a Project you have chosen to keep private. | No. iOS handles it and only ever tells the app yes or no. The app never sees your face, fingerprint or passcode. |
| Notifications | To remind you about a Task, and to tell you when a Focus Timer finishes. | No. All notifications are scheduled locally on your device. |
InfiniTask does not ask for your location.
The two times your phone talks to the internet
Neither of these sends anything to me, and neither is tracked. I am listing them because a privacy policy that said "nothing ever leaves your phone" would not be strictly true, and I would rather be exact.
1. Reading the title of a link you paste
If you add a website to a Task and do not type your own title for it, your phone fetches that page once so it can read the page's title and label the link sensibly. That request goes to the website you pasted, exactly as it would if you had tapped the link yourself. If it fails, the app just uses the domain name. Nothing about you is attached to the request.
2. Searching for a place when you add an event
When you type a location while creating a calendar event, what you type is sent to Apple's Maps service so it can suggest matching places. That is Apple's service under Apple's privacy policy, not mine, and it does not use your device location. If you would rather not, type the address freehand instead and no search is made.
Buying Pro
The one-time Pro unlock is handled entirely by Apple's In-App Purchase. Your payment details go to Apple and are never shown to me. All I ever receive is Apple's answer to "has this Apple Account bought Pro?", which is what lets Restore Purchases work on a new phone.
Children
InfiniTask does not collect personal information from anyone, of any age.
This website
These pages are plain static files. There are no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no embedded fonts or scripts from anyone else. The typeface is served from this site so your browser never has to ask a third party for it.
The one place the site collects anything is the launch-notification form. If you choose to type your email address in, it is used for exactly one thing: telling you when InfiniTask reaches the App Store. It is never sold, shared or added to any other list, and you can ask me to delete it at any time by emailing support@infinitask.app. If you do not fill that form in, the site collects nothing at all.
Whoever hosts this site will keep standard server logs, which typically include IP addresses. That is ordinary web hosting, not something I use or look at.
Your rights
Since nothing about you is collected by the app, there is nothing for me to show you, correct or delete. Your data is on your phone, under your control: delete a Task, a Project or the whole app and it is gone. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.
If you signed up for the launch email, you can ask me to delete that address and I will.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a future version of the app ever collects anything, I will say so here plainly and in the App Store listing, before it ships.
